We offer the highest quality video deposition services with the latest high-end equipment, proper lighting, room set-up, experience and extensive knowledge of the legal field and all of its appropriate protocols.

Video Deposition Package

We arrive on site one hour prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Broadcast quality HD digital camera.
  • High quality individual lavaliere for each of the participants & boundary microphones. Sound recording equipment.
  • Additional lighting if room lighting is insufficient.
  • Backdrops provided as needed.
  • DVD and or H264 video files handed at the conclusion of the deposition.
  • Certification signed by the Legal Video Specialist that each video file or DVD is accurate true and compete record of the Deposition.
  • Master tape kept on file
  • Complete set of back-up equipment.

Additional Camera and PIP (Picture in Picture) Effect

Second camera is used for recording the opposing or deposing attorneys.
"Picture in Picture" effect allows for the exhibits to be seen on an insert window along with the deponent on the screen.
Advance notice is required for 2nd camera and for Picture in Picture effect.

Video Encoding to MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H264

We convert the deposition video to a variety of digital formats

  • MPEG-2:
    2 hours of high quality audio and video on a DVD disc playable on consumer DVD Players. DVD can hold more than 2 hours of video but the quality of the video diminishes.
  • MPEG-1:
    VHS quality video and audio in a computer data file. 1 hour of video and audio on CD disc. Up to 6 hours on a DVD disc. Can be played on any PC with no special software. MPEG 1 video along with the transcript can be synchronized. Read bellow.
  • MPEG-4, H.264:
    It is by far the most commonly used video codec for the recording and distribution of High Definition video, and it is also widely used by streaming video sites on the Internet like Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram etc. In litigation, H264 HD video Depositions can be played from laptops and Mobil devices providing High Definition video that uses minimum space on your computer.
  • Video Synchronization:
    By synchronizing the reporter's transcript ASCII and the videotape, you have the ability to enhance the presentation in the court room as the video along with the text appear on the projector screen at the same time. Compatible with the most popular trial presentation software TrialDirector, Sanction, Summation, & Livenote.
